Particularly beneficial for researchers is the platform’s capacity to produce in-text citations based on conventions like APA, MLA, Harvard, etc., enhancing precision and simplifying citation work. The Paraphrase & Rewrite functionality deserves special mention, too – it allows text rewording according to your preferred tone providing flexibility while customizing content. Furthermore, presents an Outline Builder, which generates section headings from prompts, thus chalking out a neat blueprint for writing. Not stopping at this, its unique ability extends to broadening narratives derived from your research papers accentuating the depth of topics explored, thereby underlining its dexterity perfectly well. Notable Features

In-text Citations

One pain point many people encounter while writing academic content is citations. First, too many citation methods exist, and each platform requires contrasting citation standards. Moreover, each of these citation styles is frequently updated, and there is a need to keep up with the most recent version of publishing practices. These efforts can be rather time-consuming when focusing on researching and the actual writing process.

Jenni’s in-text citation feature simultaneously addresses all these issues by automating these citation processes. The tool lets you easily cite the latest research and PDFs into different methods, including APA, MLA, IEEE, and Harvard style.

Chat Feature to Summarize Research Papers

Furthermore, Jenni has an option to chat with your PDFs so that you can easily understand and summarize different content with an AI chat assistant. Not only does Jenni strive to generate fully plagiarism-free content, but it also streamlines the entire writing process by fulfilling your content needs.

Here’s how it works

The process starts by crafting the prompt. As with all AI tools, a more detailed prompt leads to better results, which aligns with what you are looking for.

Jenni prompt

I tried entering a prompt regarding AI ethics to test out, and Jenni generated the following content.

AI writing assistant evaluation

I think the quality is pretty impressive. The AI command function is extremely useful throughout the writing process, allowing you to edit in multiple ways. On top of the basic paraphrase and simplify functions, the AI command function can also be translated into different languages.

What I Liked About Jenni AI

One of the things that I thought was really useful was the ability to create counter-arguments to avoid the content being one-sided. Also, when you want to wrap up the paragraph but don’t know how to finish it, there is a “conclude this paragraph” feature to help you out. As with exporting, I was able to effortlessly convert and export the content into an HTML file (also supports LaTeX files).

What I Did Not Like About Jenni AI

Although I was mostly amazed by the content generation capabilities, one thing I was not necessarily happy about was the free trial limitations. It is understandable that they are an established business and need to create revenue, but I personally thought that the limit of 200 AI words a day was way too small. Moreover, the free version does not let users check for plagiarism within the platform, and it was, quite frankly, enervating to figure out/fact-check which sentence came from which source.

Should You Start Using Jenni AI?

Even though Jenni AI has some downsides, Jenni AI offered one of the most fulfilling experiences I’ve had with various AI writing assistants I used in the past, including Writesonic and Scalenut. Based on my experience, I would definitely recommend Jenni AI to anyone searching for an innovative and streamlined AI writing assistant. Nevertheless, it is important to remember that these natural language processing models are not faultless. Manually fact-checking the generated content becomes an important step when utilizing these AI-powered writing assistants.
